LAGOS is well worth a visit. It is very easy to explore on foot offering
many historic buildings and squares, together with an impressive
marina and many fine examples of civic modern art.
You will never be far from the numerous and inexpensive cafes
and restaurants.
GOLF Three golf courses are very close and all are excellent.
Boavista www.boavistagolf.com is the nearest at only a 5 minute drive.
Palmares www.palmaresgolf.com and
Parque da Floresta www.parquedafloresta.com
are only about a 15 minute drive.
Penina championship course is half an hour away.
TENNIS The Ocean Club facilities include five tennis courts. Individual or
group coaching is available provided by Mark Warner's resident
coach. Nearby also is the renowned Jonathan Markson Tennis
Camp. Club Tenis de Lagos is also recommended. All these
facilities will organise you, or you can use them for
social/friendly tennis.
HORSERIDING There are various schools along the Algarve offering a
range of activities, even beach riding! The nearest is in
the next village just up the road called Tiffany's

FURTHER AFIELD
SLIDE & SPLASH, AQUALAND There are two waterparks less than 40
minutes away. Both offer fantastic value and great rides.

These parks are a great day out for all the family.
ZOOMARINE Zoomarine offers dolphin shows and all sorts of other marina
attractions. It gets lots of rave reviews and is easily
accessible by bus or car.
